- Thanks (belatedly!!) Hedgehoggy. Can't for the life of me work out how these message systems work it's rather hit and miss. So apologies to anyone who's had any kind of message to me unanswered - you're not being deliberately ignored! This one is about to zoom off into cyberspace so fingers crossed ...
- hi Hedgehoggy, just got your visitor message, but then lost it LOL !
i keep losing those messages, do you know how to retrieve them ?
i dont think that was the one, so yes please do sign this ban snares petition.
thank you. :) - Sorry about that Hedgehoggy, just found your message to me plus loads more, thanks for explaining to me how to reply to someone, i guess i must be getting old and silly.
Regards
BK - Thankyou H, you are a great help to a lot of people on this site .
- I think owls are pretty cool, so I'm happy to produce a page on Tawny's, and possibly some of the other lesser-knowns (e.g. Long-eared Owls). I think I'll hold off with the Barn owl for a while, given that there's a plethora of info about them already available.
>>Don't forget, if you need any help with proofreading, just shout, I’m only too happy to help. Which reminds me, how’s the Fox update coming along? :-o
LOL! Marc tries hard (or is that, 'is very trying?!?') but lacks focus! This was the 'keeping foxes as pets' Q/A, wasn't it? I haven't forgotten about it, honest :D There have been a couple of other developments on the site that have put that Q/A on the back-burner (VERY soon to be revived). I'll drop you an e-mail with some more details later on - I'm off to see if I can find an owl costume in my size!
Cheers,
Marc. - Thanks for the kind comments Nat. I am actually thinking of doing a page on Tawny owls - it's now added to the (ever increasing) list :D
Cheers,
Marc. - 29-06-2009 08:53 PM - permalinkalisonclairHi hedgehoggy. Yes we have found a robin box, and plaque currently being engraved. We will be putting it up in the church yard when we bury my mum's ashes in the coming weeks, I am OK, generally doing well, but have the odd sad day. I saw a hearse on my way home tonight and just kept getting flashbacks to the day I went to see my mum at the chapel of rest. Horrible really.
Anyway, hogs keeping me busy - no babies yet mind you, but fingers crossed. Saying that every hog I have inspected over last couple of months has been a male, except my Bettym who did a runner after release (she did come back for one visit but that's all!) Hog box is occupied most nights, but by a different one each time. Its a hog motel, and I have started charging food and lodging!!!
How's all your hogs? - Thanks Hedgehoggy,
I change the chimp fairly frequently but have become a bit fond of Big Chief Chimp, so it may be a while before I change him.
Ron - 15-05-2009 09:37 AM - permalinkalisonclairThank you for your kind words Hedgehoggy. It's a difficult time really, life feels a little bit empty without my mum. But she would have wanted me to carry on and be happy and thats what I have to remember.
Anyway, take care
Alison
xxx - 23-04-2009 07:51 PM - permalinkalisonclairWell, I spoke to soon. One of the released ones (Ben) appeared again last night after a week of no show. He has moved back into the box. Obviously realised that the grass isn't greener the other side of the fence!!!
