Wow, lovely pics, bet that was an amazing birding moment seeing a Black, a red and an albino at the same place :-O Will be poss be up for rhayader but also poss doing the Regent's Park one following weekend. Will jiggle and let you know :o)

Hi Lily, Managed a quick trip to Grigrin on Friday, got to see the Black Kite and the Albino...Lucky me lol....have put a couple of pics on my WAB Gallery and will put some more over the next few days.

You given any thought about going up in April at all?

Hi galanthus, I'm afraid I haven't been to see the black kite yet, what with work the snow and other commitment I just haven't been able to make time.
Good hunting though if you manage to get up there at the weekend, look forward to seeing the images in the Gallery.

Oh PS I've got a lot of the candle out of the carpet (found the iron eventually - which gives the game away that I never iron anything these days!) but the hearth is hardly noticeable now - good job the candle was dark red and the carpet is terracotta ......!

Hello Lily - I;ve missed you! Glad my festivities have given you a laugh - I have a lovely turkey crown in the freezer so I will have my delicious xmas meal again in a week or two! Mum in law has been released from hospital but she is not well at all so its all hands to the pumps there as well as with my mam ...... I got the icing on the cake to end 2009 tho - piccies of kingfisher this afternoon which will be on the Gallery once they have been moderated - I've been after this bird for years and today this aft it all came together - shame there was no light - but I will go back on a better day and try again!!
