Hi John
Yes, especially the Pluteus chrysophaeus, as the Stones always produces nice specimen.
The Weeping Widow - Lacrymaria lacrymabunda is new to me, very nice shot, too.
I'm still waiting for the chance of a shot of the Procelain Fungus, so keep me informed when it appears. I'll try and get Dave to bring me out for a shot.
On checking last years images, I had the peziza with the ice blue outer, on the 14th June last year.
The Wasp nest was very interesting, pitty you could not get a shot of the wasp, too.
Keep them coming.

Blooming eck Les ... 5 miles a day! Are you in training for the marathon lol
I'll let you know about visiting stones. It will probably be on Sunday as I'm doing a pre foray at clumber on Saturday just to see what's likely for our spring foray on Monday.
I've not experienced any problems with adobe but then .... lol I'll ask the techies if they know what could be the problem.
Sounds like you have been busy with LR! Shall I send you my images to catalogue lol
Speak to you soon.

Hi John.
I thought you had been quiet.
Week 2 training going well. I'm doing a total of about 5 miles each day, now.
Had a walk down Stones yesterday, with Jenny & Dave. Some nice P. squamosus and P. durus at side of main path. We didn't venture off the path, as I'm only doing gentle inclines. The ground cover in the lower Stones is prolific, with Ransoms everywhere. Not a good time for forays, I'm afraid. We may take a look on the higher path this evening; see what Orchids are about.
I still have not managed to un-install the Adobe files, they just hang, so have not yet run the clean-up programme. However, I've now got all my RAW photos in LR2; but not all with IDs LOL.
If you do decide on a Stones visit, let me know, and I'll get down there some how. It should be in my walking range by next week end (week 3).

Hi Les
Keep up the training!
The rain has certainly helped. I've been conducting a survey of Westfield plantation during April, visiting every other day on my way home from work. Yesterday I found several mature St Georges where there were none on Monday!
Re the Porcelain fungus ... We were 100 yards away from the classic beech but didn't visit :-( I'll check again at the weekend.
Already Lime tree avenue is showing agarics and the usual Inocybe / Cortinarius species. We have our staff spring foray on the 11th May, which should after all this rain produce some good species .. we shall see!!
Say hello to the girls for me ;-)

Hi John
It's like being back in training. Keep putting in the miles to rebuild the stamina; improve on previous times to see how the fitness is coming along. However, the cold weather makes it more difficult. Otherwise, I can see improvements every day, and its still only week one!
I am expecting to see a few more sp on WAB after this week's rain.
I liked your bog beacon at Longshaw. Have you got the Porcelain fungus in Clumber, yet?
It's giving me the chance to get some of the backlog of photos onto Lightroom, but the big push has been to get a load of my books, unread for many years, up into the loft, to create some space in the computer room.
Keep me updated with your forays.
