Hi Les
My first day back at work is rough!
Another good day yesterday. I've not had time yet to look at the fungi yet but the white disco is interesting.
Catch you later

Hi Les
Possibly Hemimycena tortuosa but unlikely IMO ... I'll send you an email explaining why.
The 'green stipe, yellow cap' turned out to be our old friend Pluteus chrysophaeus / leoninus! (Immature fbs).
I have also worked on one of the other Little 'white' jobbies and it looks like a Marasmius sp.
I'll upload the composite B. Luridus
Speak to you soon

I will upload them tonight.
How about Hemimycena tortuosa for the white sp holding water droplets, found on wood in damp situation.
I've not managed to find a sp with green stipe, yellow cap (turning brownish with age) and having such a distinct patern, growing on wood.
Les.
ps Might have to put in forum, unless you have any ideas.

Hi John
It was a confusing bolete, I thought.
I was looking at the stipe to see if there was a network, and still couldn't decide.
I will email what I have tonight.
I was thinking B. luridus.
Was there another sp that you wanted that you did not photograph?
You got seem great images (as usual).

Hi Les
Can you remember what the stipe looked like on the boletus? I wish I had taken it home .. DOH!

Hi John
9.30am it is, at the cricket ground.
I tried Budby common this morning. Started well but then faded away.
Did find my first bonfire peziza though.
See you tomorrow.
Les
