I just wanted to say thank you for your post on Nick's thread. I assume it's a thankless task being a Mod, and you sometimes feel like you have to explain the same point a hundred times over. I enjoyed your story. If you haven't already, I think you should write a book sometime. Thanks again.

Belated thanks for the birthday message - I took advantage of it to have a few days away. It's been a hectic summer not really sure where the time has gone - my way of saying I've not done anything about fold-out keys! I'm probably heading south on the A1 on the 18th September is it worth trying to meet up to have a chat then? I'll be away in Scotland for a couple of weeks before then - starting this Friday.

I can do any day to suit you. It doesn't look like we are to get a rainy day soon, so when we are done, then we could pop out for visit somewhere local, after a spot of lunch first, of course.

That will let me update LR
I had a play with CS3 last night. I took some photos of a fieldfare in snow with my Coolpix, when it visited our garden during the cold weather.
Only tried the histogramme and curves, oh and the sharpening, but it certainly improved the image. I couldn't find a crop (which is so easy in LR, LOL).
