Hi ellen I'm shattered - see the Leighton Moss Meet in the Meets and Events Forum and then you will know what ails me!!! A week of that activity and then straight down the M6 and onto the torture table for a dose of accupuncture and shiatso massage this aft ........ bed wheres my bed?? My lovely hard bed here at home instead of the soft foams in the caravan which are ok for a couple of nights but a week is a crippling exercise!!! Nite nite. Hope all well - hows mum? Long returned I guess - but time is flying by and the LM meet got to huge proportions in my mind as it got nearer I could think of little else but judging by the responses we did everything right!!!!

Hi Pauline,have just been nosing around and read what happened to your mam!!! How awful,hope its all sorted by now tho,what a worry for you and I can empathise how you wanted to thump someone!!

Sounds like you have both been thru it!!! Hopefully you are both on the road to recovery....we are ok,mum came for a walk down the castle today,as well as Rusty we took Percy(westie) and Roxie(jack russell) they are a neighbours dogs and she cant take them on much of a run owing to ill health.We ALL came back muddy!!!

Still coughing . . . don;t think it going to go! Saw mam thro the french windows a few days ago - saw her in person xmas day - but the home is in deep quarantine with sickness and diarrhoea and she's had it too - so I went to the window and she came and kissed the glass!!!! I told her I'd been in bed and she was right sorry about that - she seemed in good spirits if a little pale - more or less describes me too! Hope you, mum and Rusty in good health!

I'm in the depths of despair with a doze of flu ......... its got me good this time - haven't been ill for 2 years since finishing work - but boy am I ill at the min ...... Ian is shouting at me now - telling me I shouldn't be 'on here'! I came down to write a couple of birthday cards ......... so shall claw my way back up right now before he turns nasty!!!!!

Re: Dr Who- Tom Baker was the one for me:)lol.....Well I do hope you had a nice xmas.We spent the day with my sisters family.Chris did the cooking,he did himself proud as usual,then all relaxed for a while before playing charades,cards and board games-great fun.....
Took the camera out on walk with Rusty very early boxing day morning and caught the sunrise-well worth it,photos in my Gallery.First time since we have had snow that there hasnt been cloud! Now we have drizzle and a thaw......

Its been a rocky week - my nerves have been stretched beyond breaking ........ but after mam's seizure/fit or whatever it was last Tues and our day in A&E she finally seemed almost normal yesterday.... fingers crossed that things will quiet down with her for a spell and give me time to catch my breath and enjoy xmas if poss. Ian has four days off - we've had a jobs and cooking day today but its off out tomorrow hopefully as I have been indoors for prob 10 days now thro weather and mam - so tomorrow is being looked forward to! Ian is changing bases and rota after all these years - so thats the reason for the 4 days together! He's just done 5 and a 1 and next week will be another 5 and a 1...... Hope you and your mum and esp Rusty are fighting fit xxxx

Hi Pauline-hows things with you.Have not long come in from shopping-eeeek hate this time of year,roads,pavements and shops busy,busy,busy!!!! Still got a few more xmas presssies-now eating a thorntons choccy bar:)

Not caught up in the sleep stakes yet - I can stop taking the calms and nytol before I 'drug' myself into oblivion! Had to stop at teatime tonight on my way home and have a kip in the back of the car - I couldn't stop nodding while I was driving and it was dangerous. Trouble is from the back of the car I can't lock the doors manually so every time I moved my head the car alarm went off - well at least I know it works! I got up early 5am and made tea for tonight and then off out to Malham (Yorks) one of my fave places but they have had frosts and the fungi had just disappeared as tho it had never been.....
