Hi Pauline-look forward to the story-very intriguing!!!! I am ok but mum has been poorly. She developed a kidney infection and was admitted to hospital where she spent 5 days....while in there she picked up a nasty cold(another patient in the ward apparently was sneezing and coughing infecting 4 out of the 6 patients on the ward!!!!)which she came out with!!She never went out for nearly 2 weeks but when I came home yesterday she must have felt better-she was painting!!!!Anyway today I took her to Sainsburys for a big shop and she was more like her old self-she says the one good thing for being so ill is she has lost weight:)

Yes I know you have 'all sorts' of goodies down there and I start to salivate just thinking about it ... maybe next year - his nibs and I have to sit down and have a really good wrangle about what we want to try and see next year which will determine how many hols and where ........... could be a big debate this one! Meanwhile I will drool over your lovely pics ellen!!

Hi Pauline, hope you are well. Thanks for the comment on the butterfly. The heath fritillaries are starting to come in numbers now.Last year was not as good as the year before when there was carpets of them!!Hoping this year will be good, also looking out for the white admiral also found in the woods and Dodds grove....Its a highly populated area round here but we are lucky to have the woods, country park, marshes and estuary to explore and there are surprisingly a lot of rarities from orchids to insects!

good luck - tho I'm sure it will be fine - you will be back online with no hitches - it should just be a straight changeover ..............

Yes nice to see cuckoos but can be a difficult bird to get close to ........ some seem born wary or get wary and then every now and one appears that takes absolutely no notice of folks - wish I could drop across one like that - tho the Mull bird wasn;t too bothered about us but we just couldn't get any nearer.
