- Its now 3am and I promised Ian I would not be late to bed ......... aghem ......... have just finished my acount of the hol and posted - have been up and busy now for 21 hours and then I'm daft enough to wonder why I'm tired ........... nite nite ellen afore I nod off here and slide off my chair!!!
- Mornin ellen - bet you are out walking the dog at the min! Have been to mam's and given her a proper bath, washed her hair, put clothes washing on, found she;s lost her new glasses (outside gone for good I suspect - £60 wasted - oh hum....) I tripped over an interesting set of articles and websites yesterday about The Lightening Process - a treatment for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME which I was told I had prob three years or more ago - its put more hope in my mind that I can beat some of my symptoms by changing my attitude to the situation ....... something I already knew about from other sources - William Bloom and his 'strawberries' and the Barefoot Dr and his Tai Chi attitude changing etc. Sorry if this sounds like I'm speaking garbled just dropping names in - what I meant to say was it would appear from a lot of sources that simply accepting a situation and getting on with it is - and prob always has been the best way of going forward!! Must dash - can you tell!!! P xxxxxxx
- Hi ellen and thanks for welcome back - I've missed chatting with you too! Its been an ok kind of hol - some of it very good and some not - which is parr for the course i suppose. Today has got away from me and tomorrow will get away even faster I suspect and at some point I may get to sit and reflect on not working for a living anymore - tho taking care of a small, poorly, clingy mother is going to be a big job and one I wasn't trained for! At least at work after 3 hours 50 no matter what else was happening I could put my shoes on and leave .......... I suspect being a carer is not a soft option ............ but she's my mum so I have to do my best.......... anyhoo - will look at your pics when I get a quieter moment later this week ............??!!!!!!!!!
- Hi Ellen, yes Chiffies can be little so and so's to get a decent photo of, I was trying for around an hour earlier in the week and still didn't get a decent one.
- Thankyou for your kind comments on my 1000 thread ellen.I hope you will accept my friendship request.
- There did seem to be a few about on sunday, i'm hoping to some cub photos later on in the spring would be amazing. Was also on the look out for weasels on sunday but unfortunately didn't see any. Going to go again next sunday early so may finally bump into you.
Paul - Mornin' Ellen - I'll bet you're already up and bustling too - or maybe not - it is Sat I have just realised! I've had 4 hours sleep but there is so much to do and I'd rather be doing it than lying with it whirling round and round! We are trying for the caravan later today - and a sleep over tonight which usually means 12 or 14 hours of sleep (no telly and no noise outside - utter peace - the only place where I get such a good sleep). Tho I see Ian is trying to look after me and give me a few perks - he's lifted the moth trap out for taking - oh bless him! Then its back tomorrow to Drs apps, the carers starting shaddowing me during the week, our Cairngorms hols need preparing for and hopefully Friday afternoon will be my last ever working day at Pennington Flash .............. It will be nice when I have time to chew over all this in my mind but at the minute I'm running like a Dervish and should be 7 stone wet thro - instead I'm twice that - theres no justice is there?!! Hope all ok with you and you get out this morning with Rusty. When I went to the loo at 5am I stuck my head thro the bathroom window and could hear sev thrushes and the frogs 'blipping' in our little pond - it put a smile on my face - that and the big moon that is now on the wane ....... have a good weekend Ellen and thanks for all the support. It looks like there might be a nice sunrise on its way - hope you are out and watching from your facourite spot......... P xx
- I seem to have hit the blackest of places at the minute - I find it very scary how rotten things can creep up and hit you from behind - I can't stop crying this morning and I've gone off work again after only a day back yesterday - where the boss conducted a back to work interview and also told me I was due to be investigated for something else I've done wrong and a disciplinary may result - just what I needed..... pile it on - why not - then there might be a clear spell somewhere later on? Glad you're getting out and about despite work getting in the way - I'm so relieved I had a normal kinda day on our days off - but when I came back I found mam hadn't eaten any of the meals I had prepared and put in the fridge.....
On the good side - there are a lot of little frog heads sticking up in our small garden pond and lots of spawn ....... at least some bits of life are going on as normal!
