Had a couple of days and a night at the caravan again on Ians days off ........ We had permission to moth on a South Cumbria Reserve - but the tempt went too low and too clear - it was freezing and nothing much was moving - a couple of Clouded Drabs - we gave in at 10.30pm - frozen stiff! Ian had luck photographing the badgers and I heard and saw a Woodcock roding right over my head and heard my first Cuckoo - what a strange place - mossland at dusk - still I suppose there are plenty of 'pippity-larks' as Ian calls them - for the cuckoo to predate .........

I would think it was choccy too - the way its made is a very rich buttery mix and must be quite difficult for stomach and liver to deal with! I was just thinking about you now driving back round from taking my mam home - there is a beautiful sunset developing in a clear blue sky here in Leigh - I suspect it will look wonderful over the flash - but I'm not there anymore and I'm not tempted to dash round and see if I'm right either - too tired from yesterdays romp through 5 counties (twice!): Gt M/cr, Lancs, Cumbria, Durham, back to Cumbria, Yorks, Lancs - home!

Oh ellen ..... seriously do you think the chocs may have upset your system - it happened to me last time I had a good go with choccy - anyway I AM sorry you don't feel well - the last time it happened to me I swore off choc - but its very difficult once you forget how ill you felt - hope you soon get over this and back to a little bit of choccy!

Ian and I have laughed and laughed cos we could both just picture your mum looking pebbledashed - power washers are great but they do have that habitof throwing the muck up and all over you! Choccy wrappers indeed - I hope you're feeling sick after stuffing all that - but I suspect you not sick at all just satisfied and smug with a lovely creamy film on your top lip ....... am I right?!!!! You enjoy - I would if I could!!!!

ooh you lucky begger - no not the linnet - the chocolates!!!! Hahahaha! Glad you got out - it was my abmbition but I began a spring clean here instead and sorted quite a few things out. I did intend taking the camera down Pennington before the crowds arrived but then I got busy and the next time I looked it was midday! Steadily over the coming weeks I will regain control of my own house and get it back to how it was when we moved in 5 years ago last saturday! I'm fully prepped for her losing the door keys (tho it shouldn't be as easy to lose) and have more keys if she does....... better go and phone to see that she takes her tablets - I have to tell her which day it is - I found she had'nt taken four days worth and got all confused after our last days off - better that than taking 4 in one day tho.....

She's gone and lost her new reading glasses (£60 down the drain) I've re-ordered two new pairs = £124 and spent a few quid - a tenner I think in Asda this aft buying 3 pairs of cheapies - they arn't made for her eyes - but will keep her going till next week when the proper ones come. I've taken her big bunch of keys off her and put the two front door keys on a strap around her neck..... she's chauved about it all evening but I'm not giving her the big bunch back (some are keys from when she was working for goodness sake - we don't even have that property anymore) the weight of the bunch is whats made a hole in her pocket and lost her the new glasses .......... and I just think to myself is life not hard enough without all this extra bull ........... I willl get around to looking at your Gallery soon - I'm looking forward to the kestrel diary!! Gotta go zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !

I woke at 8.15am and decided to get back up - its not enough sleep and I am on my way to bed in a few mins - Ian has just gone up cos he's on early shift - and his comment was (well last night he said you;re not staying up late are you and I said no - I'll be up in a min - that was 10pm - oops) so tonight hes just gone saying - you're not staying up till 3am are you? Again?! No I'm not. I've been ratty and short baited and mam seemed more confused than ever today - she's driven me daft and cos I'm tired I couldn;t laugh and take it - I got moody and nasty .........
