His nibs and I got to the caravan on sat and sun - willl tell tomorrow - simply must go - my back has been playing up for the first time in ages and I had my accupuncture session today and she crucified me - I was in agony before and more agony now - hopefully it will settle overnight and tomorrow I should be energised again ......... fingers crossed..... I did sunday afternoon and saw my first cuckoo great sight. Also saw a few foxes, kestrels and sparrowhawks no photos unfortunately.

Its the same here with the skylarks lots about but they fly so high you don't stand a chance and with the buzzards..

Bless him...Its still a shock even though you know its inevitable and yes less stress full for the owner this way.

Awwwwww sorry to here of poor Nod. He had a good innings at 38yrs..He was a beautiful boy, I bet you will miss seeing him in his field ellen..

I'm planning to get out some point this weekend for my weekly nature fix.

Now that thought has given me a huge belly laugh - I could see her pebble-dashed in my minds eye but looking like David Dickenson - now that is funny.... If I lived nearer ellen i'd come round to watch (and bring my mother - now that would be chaos). I got back from my overnighter at the caravan to find mam hadn';t eaten any of the food I put in the fridge for her to help herself to - couldn't be easier - little bowls of salad and dips and quiches - pots of this and boxes of that - just need emptying onto a plate - but no. Course I hit the roof - I screamed and shouted and wept from frustration - and I might as well not bother. I keep on about her landing up in hospital - its the last thing I want as I know how miserable she will be - but its head and banging ........
