A heavy frost this morning ellen - cars are white-over. I've been up since 4am - can't sleep - too much on my mind so came down and made a start of sev jobs and emails till its time to wake his nibs and get ready to get off out - good lord - ?out? I should think there may be a decent sunrise here today but it might spark mist and fog to gather as we are within spitting distance of Pennington Flash and that body of water very often holds and spreads fog around .......... time for another coffee methinks (I'll be lucky if I don't have a migraine - all that chocolate last night and now coffee - but what the heck!!) P xxxxxx

ooh sounds lovely ellen - I shall have a quick look for those in a min. After a ropey start here it turned brilliant, blue and gorgeous tho temp has steadiloy dropped all day. We got warm mending broken fencing this morning from the idiots in cars crashing thro last night - they damaged one of the greens on the golf course too and sev areas of grass verge - driving round and round.
Treated myself this aft - went to the sales for the first time in 25 years! And bought a dyson ball at £100 off. My old dyson can go to mams now so that I can run it around and keep on top of the crumbs and mess that follows wherever she's been! We call it the 'musili trail'.......... I won't use a cylinder hoover anymore - it wrecks my back and only takes one false move with it and my back goes - I need to stay upright when cleaning and kneel when making the beds. Off to bed now - going out for the day tomorrow (hopefully) with the camera - fingers crossed! xx

Thats the ticket - getting out and enjoying! Work for me this morning but then its our one weekend in 7 off so we're wondering if we are going to get a day - or perhaps two days out - now that would be novel - and something to snatch at!!!!

Enjoyed glancing at Julia (someone?) ascending Scafell with Wainwrights books this morning - now thats put me in a good mood - lucky girl - but as she's half my age and it took her 10 hours to the top - then thats it for me!!!! It will be one I don't do!!
