Cheers Ellen, I wish I could see some Sparrows as they are now rare up my way, plenty of virtually everything else though.

You're quite safe Ellen - I'm just a bad tempered bat when things are stressing me - I puff up and make a lot of threatening noise and gestures and swear a lot but very rarely in my life (I can think of twice in 56 years!) where I have actually gone on to implement the threat and actually not since I became teetotal which says a lot about drinking and losing one's rag doesn't it. I've always been a flinger of inanimate objects tho - my dad was and did take it out on mechanical things that got his goat - and I'm just the same. It drives Ian nuts cos he never loses his temper (I won't tell you what I call him but it begins with tight and has bottom in it!!!)(No-one should be that controlled - its why he has high blood pressure and I don't - or is that cos he lives with me and I wind him up......Mmmmm?!!!) Glad I made you laugh tho! Funny I was the only person who dared to laugh at my dad when he was in a temper - and the pair of us used to fall about giggling at how stupid we both were - but we have both damaged a variety of household 'things' thro giving them a good thrashing!

Ah bless thanks Ellen. Glad (also whispering) your back is not doing too much singing and dancing.... Mum behaving today and hasn't forgotten how upset I got yesterday so maybe it did some good all ways round - for a short spell. Today I took it out on the hoover. I staggered about and made her dinner then looked back and saw that my work boots had dropped mud everywhere so had to get the hoover out ......... by this time I was sweating and breathless from being chesty then I got even more breathless when the hoover would not pick up so I gave it a good thrashing and threw it in the cupboard (not easy - its a big heavy Dyson but I made it bounce then winced cos I'd pulled my bad elbow again) Honest Ellen if I was a dog I'd be round at the vets for the last time! (No not cos I'm old and past it - well that too - but more likely cos I;d have bitten someones arm and leg off!!) Hahahahahaha!

Afraid I'm full of chesty flu yet again - woke with a sore throat on Wed morning and its been downhill ever since: its seems to have settled where I did my ribs in - tho I think thats just infection gravitating to a weak spot rather than starting from that point - but I'm keeping an eye on myself and will be off to the doc if I get any worse - there is no pain so no pleurosy (sp?!) or owt like that! Glad you enjoyed what began such a lovely day - and rapidly went off here in Lancs but sorry to hear about your combined backaches .... you're going to curse yourself for that if it hasn't settled down tomorrow (aghem - later today...) Mam has left the food I made and left for the two days I have been off (I don't go round on our days off - they are for me and Ian to be together). Instead she's bought choc chip biscuits and got stuck into them and yog covered brazils. She's lost more than half a stone this past few weeks. I burst into tears today and told her she would end up in a home or hospital if she carried on not helping or working with me and I threw her biscuits in the bin in temper.... not one of the better days - I'm at my wits end with her .......... still no-one said the task would be easy did they......... nite nite Ellen - hope you're already down and fast asleep .....

LOL! I'm quite fast - tho I notice I'm making a lot of mistakes - hitting wrong keys in an Alzheimers sort of way - like typing a k when I want a d and missing whole words out that I think I have written until I re-read it ........... I've been told this is fear and stress and not the bi 'A' - I'm keeping an open mind on that - I will know if it improves when I finish work and have more time to myself to organise things how I want ........... one of the easiest ways of coping with the time-out is to type your message somewhere else - like in Word on a blank page and then copy it into the message here!
