I'm delighted to hear you at least are some better - its a right sod this time - I'm coughing but not as much but my ribs are now very painful - it doesn't seem fair - I was so sore on the right side when I fell and cracked a rib - now its the same on the left side just thro coughing. I'm just not recovering between bouts - too much stress and back to it tonight - tried phoning mam for 2 hours and no answer so finally jump in the car and go down - she can no longer hear the phone in the bedroom and its turned on high but it must be on a bad frequency for her - after half an hour of messing I remembered the old phone in the front room downstairs - a thank goodness she can hear that so I've swapped the one near her bed - now we can get her when we have been out all day and need to knw that she is safe in bed .......... stress STRESS STRESS whats that when its at home?!!! The good news is we've had 2 lovely days off and done a bit of photography tho not as many good shots as I had hoped but enough to satisfy me for a bit! Today was so so glorious and I revelled in it - determined not to miss a minute! P xx

Oh Ellen - what am I like?! I got out of bed as late as poss so that my body didn't have too long to register that it wasn't getting tea nor coffee - and off we go to the hospital (we can make apps now at the walk in centre for early mornings and get in and out within 5 - 15 mins which is great). So Ian drove so that I didn't have to try and find free parking - in I goes - gets shouted about 6 mins later and on time - arrives in the big chair - and I forgotten the plastic bag and printed page that tells the nurse what the blood test is for and confirms your name, dob etc ........... Arghhhhhhhh! Course she can't take blood without it ..... she says she will try and fit me back in if I nip home for it (about a mile as luck has it..) I call him and up he drives and says that was quick and I say - no it wasn't ... he doesn't speak all the way home and back to the hopsital and in I go and back to registering with the receptionist. The lovely nurse calls me in within 2 mins - takes my blood - laughs at me and I'm genuinly on my way home job done this time ........... Stressed? Noooooooo ......... not exactly ........ climbing the walls .......... um ...... probably ............!!!!

I was going to say nite nite in return then I get upstairs and there's footie on the telly at the bottom of the bed - Arghhhhhhhh NOooooooo! So I've come back down and all I really really really want is a cup of tea and a pint of clementine juice - one after t'other ............ Daft innit - I sit here by the hour without a drink cos I'm too idle or engrossed here to reach the kitchen (like its such a long way away - all of 10 yards if that!) and cos I could go and get one - I don't. Now tonight cos I can't have one I can't think about anything else - human nature? Its a sod! I wish I was asleep! Ah footsteps - think the box has gone off - I'll try going up again! Nite nite Ellen!!

I should think the nest will be somewhere quite substantial - like a wall or in a woodpile - don't think they nest flimsy like harvest mice do so I doubt you will have done anything to it at all. Yes they are really funny - the wall beside our caravan (its a typical limestone chunks field wall - full of gaps - well its full of field mice too - and rabbits - the babies can squeeze thro - then the moth eaten looking old rabbit tries and gets stuck! Think I'm going to bed - its murder not being able to have a proper drink or nibble at anything - roll on 7.15 then I can get back home and get the coffee going!!

I've fallen around laughing at the other pic - just its ear and eyes showing above the pipe - so funny! I'm still coughing - I suspect it might take weeks to be gone properly - in fact that seems the problem - the incfections never really goes - it just hides somewhere until another virus sets it off again! I'm nil by mouth this evening - I have a fasting blood test at 7.15am at the walk in centre - hope its just a thyroid function test - I could do without any complications just now!! I'm just waiting and wondering if my life will ever be my own again! You sound ok? Hope nothing bothering you - back ok? Or should I shush and not mention it - in case its listening?!!!
