Glad - delighted in fact to hear you're on the mend - I did begin to wonder if you had succombed for good! LOL! Just been to the caravan, taking my friend Joan for a short break as well as myself - got there at teatime but we packed a lot in to a few hours and she enjoys watching our big bird table which is supporting 5 pairs of bullfinch at the min!
Not much sleep last night - a combination of mothing, then rain - which resulted in a dash outside to bring trap in, then leg cramps (from eating chocolate and ice cream - boy did we misbehave after the fish and chip supper - I went hunting the shelves at Spar and packets and boxes of sweeties, choc and ice cream lept off the shelves..........)!!!!! I won't admit it Ian when he gets in from work tonight - he would throttle me!!!

Thanks for your good wishes, I've finally more or less got rid of the dratted bug, I feel like I've had it all year! I read your message, decided to reply once I was feeling a bit better - was feeling very sorry for myself at one point - and it's taken me until now to find it again!
Being self-employed, I don't often get out quite as often as I'd like, but I don't spend too much time indoors when the weather is great.
Having been ill, I had a lot of work to catch up with so haven't been out too much, only long enough to see a couple of pairs of Ospreys, have a great walk around the nature trail at Insh Marshes and see 33 species of birds.
Anyway, I'm off to the river at Nairn tomorrow to meet up with Inverness Botany Group and investigate the Flora (and Fauna) up there.
I did find a Capercaillie once, or rather he found me, he jumped out from behind a bush, I don't know who got the biggest fright him or me!!! Typically, I wasn't fast enough with the camera.

Really sorry to hear about the tonsilitis - there's a lot of it about at the min - I hope it misses me tho as I had a chest infection from Nov to Feb which resulted in strained muscles in my chest from coughing - the pain has only just died away from that - it was particularly upsetting on the left side of my rib cage as I had a fall at work and crcked a rib on the right side which has taken months to settle - lifes a pain I find for someone as clumsy and virus-prone as me!!!! Anyway hope you are out this morning enjoying that fantastic area you live in - goodness if I lived in Aviemore I;d never be in!!! And I'd have found a capercaillie by now - or that would be one of my wish list items ticked!!! I keep hoping every year that one will walk out onto the path and accost me - oh heaven!!!
