Yes, where the Bairn gone to. Yes, your email as gone awol. Sorry:( ;)

One of my childhood friend's mum came from Gateshead. She always referred to babies as bairns. I always associate that term with the Scots. Lost my email addy???? Well!

No, I don't talk proper Geordie. Geordies are from the Tyne area of Newcastle and sometimes I can't understand them. A Mackam is from the Wear area of Sunderland and a Moggie is from the Teesside area of Middlesbrough. I live about 6 miles west of Middlesbrough, the accent does differ a lot, I live 40 miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne and 50 miles north of York. So really my accent is cross between a Geordie and Yorkshire, but us Teessider's have our own local slang, say we call the kids...Bairn.
I could email it to you, if you could give me your email addy. I've lost it somehow.

Just wondered if you spoke in a Geordie accent, so looked up where Geordies come from. Apparently you term yourselves as "Smoggies"??? But do you still sound like a Geordie? lol! (I come from London, but don't sound like Sharon on Eastenders, so I know it's a generalisation ;))

Hahaha! Oh Foxy, now that *did* make me laff out loud! :D (I see you chose a nice, fluffy walking sock!)
-
Gosh Foxy, this is a long time, even for you!
-
Oh dear! 'Hope you're feeling much better now, Foxy! It looked unusually quiet on the Music thread last night. D.

Yay! I thought you might have known it anyway....It's a traditional folk song, kids sung it in school (in our day! lol!) I am so pleased you approve, I was worried you may have thought I was being too frivolous! lol How's your day/evening been?

Just as long as you are ok ;)
