Hi Jan,
I was wondering about your lack of bird activity..I didn't want to hijack the thread.
Do your neighbours feed the birds as this tends to help to bring them in.
Did the people who lived there before feed the birds as if they didn't it will take the birds a while come in.
Think of something spiky where they can roost in safety, the birds live in my garden but if there is nowhere for them to roost they will not stay in the area.
Just a few things to consider..

Oh yes indeed! The area is well-known boar country. I expect we shall see signs of their presence, if not the actual animals (who knows, we may be lucky!)

I think there's directions given on the actual thread (from before the last meeting). If in doubt, check with Mike. I shall be doing that myself as there are lots of different woods and mini car parks around that area. Yes, I have been to these woods loads of times, including on a boar watch (non-WAB.) But never on an organized, guided foray thingy! :D

Yes, that was taken in Sept on my brothers sun terrace in Spain..
I could have swore I saw a post maybe I was dreaming lol..
