Thank you Colin,
they are what we got a glimpse of they are very shy birds that's why I thought at first they were jays.
They are great photos of lovely birds..
I am really not familiar with foreign wildlife it takes me all my time trying to keep up with British wildlife.
Thanks for comment on kestrels! Watched this nest site last year, dont know if its the same pair but 4 young were successfully raised so hoping will be as successful this year.Hopefully will be able to photograph their progress. Was well pleased to get these shots!!
I have just done a search to see what photos there are for Great White Egret and noticed you have two images that you have named as that bird. Unfortunately they are both of a Little Egret. The Great White has no plume and has a yellow beak.
This was pointed out to you correctly at the time in the replies.
I don't know if you can change the information. I can if you want me too but I wouldn't do that without your permission.
Sorry to take the bait on your thread Colin, i really like the photos. :)
I was wondering when this would kick off again there have been quite a few grey squirrel photos recently and it was going beyond the laws of averages for something not to have happened by now.:D shame it happened on yours though.
Hi Colin, glad you did make it to farne I did plan to go on thursday again, but I'm not that stupid! Did manage a great many photos and I am still wading though. May post some later.
Hi Colin, how are you? thank you for your comments, and am pleased to hear you got over to the farnes aswell :-). I have just been browsing through your Gallery Colin, very impressed, there is one of a barn owl landing on the field, the light is very good, stunning. What camera do you use?
