Hi Chris, I see (researching) that you have at least 2 records for fistulina hepatica on alternative species to quercus or castanea, one of those on leaves?
Hello Chris! I just joined and wanted to say hello! I trust I have the right person - if not, my apologies! You probably don't remember me, but 25+ years ago as a schoolboy who was nuts about nature I was the youngest member of Leeds Nats and Leeds Birdwatchers Club, and worked a lot at Adel Dam and Eccup. I remember you as an extremely keen and knowledgeable regular at Leeds Nats who shared my passion for fungi and had a serious interest in the history of Meanwood Valley. I left the UK after Uni - 1988 - to work in conservation in Latin America, where I have been ever since. I am still very keen on fungi and have often wondered whether you published your work on the Meanwood Valley. At the moment I am in Norfolk, where there are currently lots of fungi. With the aid of a handful of my old UK fungus books and the Internet, I am trying to scrape off the rust a bit, and thus I came upon your posts on this web site. It was very heartening to see your posts! Very best wishes!
