Hi Please do not be offended but I have taken you off my friend list, this is only because I want to stick to a list of people I can regulalry communicate with and not a collection of names. I notice you haven't been on the site for some time and I suspect you have gone to the university, if you start to be active again I will be happy to add you to my list. Good luck with your camera and Bats Roy
It's on the wreck of the Thistlegorm, one of the best wreck dives in the world. (In the Red Sea). If you google Thistlegorm, you'll get some great photo's & video's of the wreck. Regards Mike.
Sounds like you did your best for your dad tho, and I'm not surprised your scared!
Start new job early April, working for a medical company assisting with radiology, ultrasound & stuff. Bit different from what I'm doing now, adults with learning disabilities, but change is good! Got 2 weeks between leaving this job and starting new so I hope the weather picks up a bit lol
Hi Carl!
To the first - I can't remember the smoking thread so I guess I must be getting old!
Second - you're welcome!
Third - yes I'm a care assistant still but only for the next 3 weeks when I'll be starting a new job as a clinical assistant!
I am pleased you have settled on a camera, once you have decide don't look back "go forward young man". My first lens was a Sigma 70-300 mm and i suspect yours will be similar. I have taken some great pictures with it, and at the weekend when I needed a macro Iused the same lens to get close to some Adders I have posted on the site.
have you bought your camera yet? a guy on one of our sites is also buying a similar camera and he is going to show mewhen he gets it. The RSPB headquarters are close to me and they do Bat tours so I will go along to one of them Also the Bedfordshire Natural History group do a Bat walk so I will get to at least one event.
