Hi Please do not be offended but I have taken you off my friend list, this is only because I want to stick to a list of people I can regulalry communicate with and not a collection of names. I notice you haven't been on the site for some time and I suspect you have gone to the university, if you start to be active again I will be happy to add you to my list. I am pleased you have settled on a camera, once you have decide don't look back "go forward young man". My first lens was a Sigma 70-300 mm and i suspect yours will be similar. I have taken some great pictures with it, and at the weekend when I needed a macro Iused the same lens to get close to some Adders I have posted on the site.

That`s just evil saying that lol ;-).Nope not yet,but dunno wether i said in the post or not i went in Jessops and tried both the fuji and the Sony Alpha 200, and i immediately fell in love with the sony, i tried it with the something lol to 300mm lens and the image was just crisp,and the focus was amazing.I said to the sales assitant,"where`s a pigeon when ya need one" lol.It`ll cost just over £400 with the lens,so it`ll be a while.

have you bought your camera yet? a guy on one of our sites is also buying a similar camera and he is going to show mewhen he gets it. The RSPB headquarters are close to me and they do Bat tours so I will go along to one of them Also the Bedfordshire Natural History group do a Bat walk so I will get to at least one event.

Ah cool mate, yer i tend not to bother with forums so much now as i always get banned from them because of some other muppets post and so i respond to it and it leads to a big argument and i get the blame.
Anyway lol yer i`m into bats i love them, i got a detector ain`t used it in a while though as not ain`t seen that many bats around in months.
Had a tree that i could see from my window but that is quite far away that has been chopped so dunno wether it`s to do with that, or what.I did try joining a group ages ago but he didn`t reply.grrrrrr, might try again though.Dunno as it`s quite far from me i`d have to take the bus.

Hi Carl

Good, I have got involved in a couple of interesting threads one about Water Voles (a fav of mine) and one on Deer tracks and they have been interesting. Some threads can a get a bit heavy with people reacting to others comments so I am pleased to find posts on mammals. I noticed in your thread you mentioned your interest in Bats are you a member of any clubs? have you got a detector, there are some giudes who will take you out which i have been meaning to do for some time.
