Hiya mate, a trip up here in Spring would be excellent indeed. I have some places in mind that I very much intend to monitor over the colder period- I have a marsh/firesite that may prove interesting to say the least. Give me a shout if you get to Kew, would be good to meet up with you there.
You're always improving- every post is smack bang full of info I can leech off of you :D Looks like the season is doing alright down there for you. I've not had too much time on my hands to get out looking, but rest assured I'll be on my hands and knees looking soon! :D

Hi Nick, long time no see, david mentions a trip to your area some time, is spring rife with fungi there, i have suggested a trip to kew some time next summer to see all these rare species on their wood chip. In an attempt to improve i have a copy of fungi nordica comming through the hants group it has mycokey bundled with it.

I think i can safely say the second caterpillar isn't an emperor moth, well it dosn't look like any i have bred, not much help as i dont' know what it is. Cheers J.P.
