Hi R
Ahhh you are the first to mention the Hertfordshire Hedgehog, yes indeedy it is a local nickname, we can use it as our special spy operation if you like LOL.
I have heard of Fishers Green (just googled it and found this) "Fishers Green car park, off Stubbins Hall Lane, off Crooked Mile (B194). Map ref: OS166 TL377032"
I don't know if it's in Herts, but it's The Lee Valley area.
Ah I see you are quite a way from me then, I'm Stevenage :-)

Hi M
I just googled "Hertfordshire Hedgehog" as I thought you probably run a rescue centre, but i understand it is a nickname for someone who lives in Hertfordshire. M, I thought the centre might be a front for a spy operation "wink".

Hi M
I have always wanted to say that, must be James Bond in me! I am in north Beds to the west of St Neots although I would get to disapointed yet as the weather improves I think members will be more likley to get together. At the moment you have to pick your moments. I have been thinking somewhere in the Lea Valley such as Fishers Green, i don't know it well but it has god car parking lots of different species but still with a chance of something unusual. Mind you I am not sure if it is in Herts.
When we stir them up I am sure they will be keen to join in.

Looks like just you and I at the moment Roy LOL
I can't remember where you are based?

Hi Mungo
I am sure we can arrange something between us, in the past I have organised some big outdoor events so I am not concerned about the organisation. However I do not want to be seen as running before I can walk.
If we can come up with a good meeting point and we give people a months notice It will be good to meet some WABBERS. Because we are local we can have a single day meet and it would be good if we could arrange lifts for thise who haven't got transport. Perhaps also we might need somewhere with a cafe or pub for a chance to chat over lunch.
Lets see what interest we get from my last post.
Speak soon

I have never done anything like a meet before, but I would imagine if you just say where and what time you will be somewhere, others can arrange to meet you there?
-
Roy,
Feel free to post as many pictures as you like, I for one love looking at other peoples shots!
Thanks for being my friend *giggle*

Hi Mungo
Thank you I would welcome the opportunity of being your friend, and well done on starting the HBB.
PS I have gone for a Mink as they get such a bad press.
