Dear Black,

I have been intrigued by your photos of marine life at New Brighton, Wirral. It has been good to see some of my own sightings confirmed. There is one species which I have not seen - this being the anemone (Sagartia elegans). A beautiful creature from your photos.

I have just checked the rECOrd database (rECOrd is the Local Record Centre covering Wirral, Cheshire, Halton, Warrington and Stockport - www.rECOrd-LRC.co.uk) and there are no records of this species on the database.

Could I ask whether it would be possible to obtain the 'record' for this species (date, grid reference, your own contact details and name, etc.) so we can complete the entry onto the rECOrd database (what, where, when, who and abundance) ? Many thanks in anticipation.

Should you have any other records for the Cheshire region then it would be great to gain access to those too.
