I admire you for foregoing your degree for ethics, and how exciting it must be to be going towards a change in direction, even if you don't know what it will be. Change is good, at least it will be when you know what it is. You are obviously 'going with the flow' at the moment, but when the time is right, it will be shown to you. How exciting !...Posie...

Glad you're feeling better. I've never heard of norovirus, just looked it up.
Nothing actually. I am starting to feel like my true path is not in academia. I have that nagging voice telling me "you should be doing something else" something specific, but I haven't found out what that is yet. I had to drop a module for ethical reasons which means I won't get my degree anyway. So... still searching for a purpose. No skills, no experience, mediocre education. Got a lot of catching up to do.

Yes thanks I'm keeping well, though I did have a bad bout of norovirus, totally floored me for a few days, but back to 'normal' now. Yes I agree about animals, they are very healing, especially when they get mischievous, which makes you giggle. nothing like a giggle to make the endorphins flow. Also, the physical part of looking after them is good for me, I'm not strong willed enough to do 'exercises'. but can't wait to go out to do the animals..........What is your ultimate aim with regard to your studying, do you have anything specific in mind?....Posie..

Just not very active, lol. Well, I left for a while because I had other things to focus on. Exams were pretty stressful last year, and I don't usually get stressed over them. Maybe because I'm used to doing them in summer, this time was winter.
Haha, sorry, I guess nobody is really all that comfortable financially at the moment. Something about animals though, just totally picks you up, no matter what the 'weather'... financial or otherwise! :) Maybe it's because they don't have to worry about that stuff and for a little while when one is with them, one doesn't worry either.
Sorry, I don't know, just rambling. How you have been lately? Healthy?

No, I'm not well off at all, but am lucky enough to have the facilities to keep the ponies. It was a nice surprise to get your message, as I haven't seen you around since last year, did you 'hibernate ' for the winter ? Anyway, nice to hear from you...Posie..

Sorry, I was never notified of your response so I didn't know you replied! Lol!
Actually I've never been camping in my life, or set a fire. Would love to learn how to camping... camp... is that how you say it? Camp? But I wouldn't know where to start. Had a bad experience with nasty instructors, which pretty much tainted any desire to learn. Even though I know there's no connection, I still get nauseated even just thinking about it.
You have ponies? That's pretty cool. You must be pretty well-off and comfortable too!

Hi Amoeba,(By the way there are a couple of posts on your thread, have you seen 'em?) With regard to the weather, apart from showers down here it's quite pleasant, slight breeze but not cold,Ive not had a coat on outside today.,and we have not had our heating on at all yet.(tempting Providence saying that )....I have exactly the same trouble keeping my lighter alight, I smoke, but I bet You meant when you are trying to light a bonfire or campfire,HeHe.closing now to go back out to those little 'Houdinis' of mine.(Miniature Shetland Ponies).Speak soon..Posie..

Haha, yeah a bit colder. Rotten summer this year, rain, cold winds, clouds, little sun. Depressing actually. Won't be living here forever hopefully. I think I heard Edinburgh being described as windy city... right enough I don't pay a second thought to the high winds except when I'm trying to keep a lighter lit. :D
What's it like down your end? Maybe we could compare how far in winter is so far.

Hi Amoeba, you are the other end of the british Isles to me, I'm near Southampton on South Coast. I bet it's a lot colder up there than here, or so I've heard. POSIE :)
