    Not been on WAB for a while, so have only just seen your VM. Love the photo, thanks for posting it. Hope Gizmo's release went well. The last of mine went on her merry way last night :-) ....Hoping for a bit of a breather now!

    Hi Alison, no need for apologies, I knew you weren't as active on here at the mo but sent the message regardless! Lucky hog that you found him in time, and it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that he's chosen to go back to sleep once you've laid on a banquet for him, lol! They are just SO unpredictable aren't they?! All my juvs are hibernating, bar one - there's always one isn't there! and no doubt it'll be this one that decides to hibernate when I'm planning its release in the spring!!!! Hope you're keeping well xx

    Good to hear from you Alison, I was getting a bit worried about you. The robin box and plaque sound absolutely perfect. A very fitting tribute indeed. It's understandable that you'll have sad days, but over time they'll become less and less and you'll start to remember more of the happy times. Hang in there xxxx

    Love the sound of your hog motel, that made me laugh as I know exactly the feeling! Think I'll start charging for board and lodgings too!! I've not seen any babes yet either, but I take that to be a good sign that they're all still snuggled up safely with mum somewhere, unlike in the Autumn when our probs begin........ sigh.

    Alison, just read your earlier post tonight. I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about your mum. I think it's a beautiful idea to erect a bird box in her memory and I hope you find the perfect one. Sending you (((BIG HUGS))) xx

    Just seen your fox in the Gallery absolutely stunning...I have been away for a while..hee hee....but I'm back now....
    I think I will move to Oundle lol....you seem to get more wildlife there.
