I really like the photos on your site and a nice design. I was just wondering if it would be possible to add or embed a Gallery for each type so that we can see the photos without too much clicking? Also wondered if it's possible to make the titles hyperlinked as well as the buttons?
Thanks for sharing your site with us.

| | | Re: UK wildlife photo album Thanks, Tim. I did try and create a Gallery using IFrames, but couldn`t get my head round the instructions and gave up At least with pop-ups, you need only click on the thumbnails that look interesting
Sorry, but I am not sure what you mean when you suggest making the "titles" hyperlinked. For birds, butterflies and moths I have hyperlinked the names in the index to the page the subject is on. Are they not working in your browser? In the case of moths, where the pages are very long, I have also bookmarked each row so that selecting a subject will take you straight to that row, cutting out all the scrolling. A quick way to get back to the index is using the Back button on your browser, rather than scrolling to the bottom of the page to the navigation buttons.

I know what you mean, they don't make it easy with galleries do they!
The titles I mean are those on the homepage. Starting with Animals and Reptiles. I've tried them in chrome, ff, and ie, but in each have to click the button to the right. Not that it's too important - it's just a personal preference thing! Although if it's viewed on a small touchscreen it might be a bit hard to press the buttons - if that makes sense!
I just noticed what you say about trickery - it made me smile
Great site

| | | Re: UK wildlife photo album Re hyperlinks on the subject titles, I took the decision to make only the buttons hyperlinked instead of titles - there is no point having buttons, otherwise, and I like the way they animate. It adds a bit more interest and also corresponds with the `click` of the mouse button - like a real switch!

| | | Re: UK wildlife photo album That's cool. A lot of things that we do are down to personal preference - as long as you're happy with it, that's the main thing!
If you have time, I'd really like your opinion on my blog design. I'm always looking for ways to improve it and it can help to get an outside view on things. The photos are especially amatuer when compared to your photos - but I hope good enough to help people with an ID if nothing else!
Thanks
