Thats a very interesting blog Phil - I've added it to my taskbar so I can keep an eye on where you've been and what you've spotted - I'm not a stalker honest - well I only stalk folk who mooch about and produce interesting things to see and search for Well done - I like it - the layout is simple and I like the odd bits of info you throw in esp when explaining why something is this species and not that species kind of thing! That would be because I'm getting to an age where I've forgotten more than I ever knew!

I like it too. The species notes are interesting and the links are appropriate.

Simple, clean layout makes for easy scrolling. Chronological blogs are useful as seasonal displays can be found elsewhere. Good work.

Thanks for all those comments from everyone. I just put in the blog what I find interesting and it really pleases me that other people find it interesting too. I am 65 years old and have been looking at wild flowers since my teens so I have picked up a lot of knowledge down the years which I like to share.

Very interesting Phil. When i first read the title i thought it said nature notes from Lynmouth - North devon's a bit far to go for a blog!
Some good descriptions of our local area's flora with nicely detailed photo's.
i won't have to do so much leg work to see things now!
A great blog that i'll keep my eyes on - well done.

Thanks for your comments, Alan. Yes, 'Lymouth' was a typo! Good to know that other Plymouthians (or should that be Plymothians?) are interested in wild flowers.

I need to take a few more photos for the blog..........the weather's so bad that I might go down to the shelter of the Plym Valley today to see what I can find.
