I have just started building myself a website, something i have neglected to do despite the fact i run a web development company :roll:

I am fairly happy with the functionality of the website, although you will find the galleries really slow at the moment as i havent resized the images yet. There are also a few bugs on the first page that i need to fix in the menu's top and bottom :x

Any how i was hoping for some feedback on the aesthetics of the site, it quite like it... but i can never get it right when i build anything for myself.. can never decide what i want it to look like!

I like it. Much better than some of the off the shelf sites, and nice to see you invested in a domain name - can't understand why so few people do that

Actually i invested in 3

just haven't pointed them towards the site yet.

I would always go for a domain name setup, it looks so much more professional and you can get all your emails set up properly with it also.

The other thing is nobody finds Zenfolio sites unless a considerable amount of time and effort is invested in the off page SEO, where as with a well build site and decent domain name you can get on the first pages of google much easier with a small amount of correctly thought out SEO.

Looks good Alex - images a bit over-large at the moment but, as you say, yet to be re-sized

Excellent photos Alex. I like the general site layout (it's simple and clean) and, once the images are re-sized, the Gallery's flow will certainly be better.

Very Nice Site..Well Done. Perhaps I'll pick up the courage to make a site one day. I have a .com & .co.uk. Only use the .com to direct people to my Zenfolio site though.

It's the cost that puts me off though.

Great photos. It's easy to navigate, albeit a bit slow to load. Enjoyed it.
