| | | What gallery software? Just wondering what Gallery software people are using on their websites?
Im looking for something that will allow customisation of the look/theme, as well as allowing me to put albums within albums so I can group similar speciws together. i.e. my goldfinch album will be in the finches, which will be in the birds and so on.
Ive used photography sharing websites (Flickr etc) and looked at Zenfolio but want something I can host on my server space. Ive tried Gallery3 which was a bit of a let down in the theme modification department and the admin page doesn't seem to run properly either. Any suggestions? |

| | | Re: What gallery software? For this type of thing I'd first look to see if there is a decent OpenSource and/or Free software package available. A good place to start is just searching at SourceForge.
A package called CopperMine seems to be quite popular, and certainly seems to major on flexibility.
A word of warning, most Open/Free software is fully featured, but often finding the features or configuring the software can be frustrating. |

| | | Re: What gallery software? Have you thought about "jAlbum" Don't know if it's any good as I only ever made one album that's hosted on their site. Good Luck | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
