| | | The Oysterbeds, North Hayling I have recently made changes on my website on the page that shows images from the above site. I act as a Volunteer Warden here during the Summer when the birds are nesting on the lagoon islands.
The purpose of these changes is to give people the location in the form of a Google map, provide some background info re the site and picture story boards covering the nesting period. Yes, there is also an archive of images as one would expect. I hope this approach generates more interest in this site, encourages visitors to look out for and appreciate what is going on during their visit. I would appreciate any constructive comments from Forum members. Does this approach meet its objectives? If this works out, I shall expand this approach to other areas on my site.
Click here to visit the Link Page on my site.
Thank you for reading this.

Just taken a little time to check it out.
Firstly, I use Google Earth a lot whenever I vist an area I'm not familiar with so this gets a big thumbs up from me. It's fast and works perfectly - always a bonus.
Secondly, the stories are excellent. Very informative with some great images to visualise your info. The text for me stands out well and is short and sweet, easy to read.
I fail to see how this can be anything but beneficial on your site.
I've bookmarked to have a decent read through the rest of the site and check out more images.

TobyH | Good evening Toby
Thank you for your comments on my post. I really do appreciate the time you obviously have taken and your supportive comments.
It takes a while to create these pages as they are made in notepad then copied and pasted to the site. Your encouraging comments provide the incentive to carry this through to other areas. Thanks again.
