| | | Re: New nature photography site Hi Tom,
Some nice images to start off with, let down by the really slow loading of the photo galleries. I see that you have a webs.com (formally freewebs) account.
I had one of those & persevered with it for a couple of years untill i got fed up of people complaining about the slow speeds & sometimes not being able to get on the site at all!
I now pay for a photium site which caters especially for photographers & i am really pleased with it. A lot of people on here use zenfolio which i believe is free & may be better for you. Just keep an eye on webs.com & dont put up with a xexexexe service!
I also like the extras on the site, reviews, blog etc. Makes websites much more interesting than photos alone (just my opinion).
Keep up the good work
Rob

| | | Re: New nature photography site Thanks very much for your thoughtful reply,
I do hope if the site proves to be popular enough in the future to just design & host the site through someone else, but ill persevere for a while & see how it goes.
I can see what you mean about the galleries and can agree with you, ive viewed them from other peoples computers & can see they arent the speediest. I may look into photium or zenfolio or a similar service at some point as Ive heard lots of good things about them.
Thanks again for the feedback & thanks for visiting |
