By the way in the Gallery the "Yellow Loosestrife" is actually Dotted Loosestrife ( Lysimachia punctata) |

It just shows the local folks were willing and able and came up with the work and volunteers till it was done ......... our council has to be restrained from filling ponds in and bludgeoned into doing any wildlife schemes - despite them shouting about green heart and green this and that - just a load of waffle and hot air here - but mention a snowdome or sports village or building more houses that folks can't afford and they are off and running - oh grrrrr  I've got up grumpy this morning
