| | | Re: My new website Thanks Roger. I wish I could claim credit for the design, but it's a template from the hosts. I am probably going to change it, because I don't like the way everything is squashed over to the left. I tried to change it in HTML but made a mess (that's the problem, one slip and you end up with a right dog's dinner!) and had to resort to the defaults!
What I may eventually do is build it offline and upload it onto this site.

I have added a new Gallery to it. It's one I made in Dreamweaver, and features some photos I took in Australia in April and May.

| | | Re: My new website Sorry to bump this up, I know it looks like shameless self-promotion but I have fallen to the lure of Zenfolio and moved my site there. Zenfolio|Fay Jordan Wildlife Photography
Edit - I think I have just violated one of the rules. Sorry, feel free to boot this down to the bottom of the pile.

| | | Re: My new website Some lovely bird shots on there Fay - In the British section you've particular captured some good behaviour/personality shots of some of your garden birds. The Stone Curlew in the 'foreign' section is an especially nice composition.
And one question that's always bugged me, how do photographers get that black background/studio type shot out of doors during daylight - is it using a spot flash? |

Yes, the dark background is caused by flash. A way round it is to use fill-in flash rather than blitz the subject with the nuclear bomb-esque light of a full flash, that's something I am trying to get the hang of.
