Stort Valley Wild is a community website covering the wildlife of this river valley on the borders of Herts and Essex. It also covers two important sites just outside of the Stort Valley - Epping Forest and Hatfield Forest. We were concerned that local records were sketchy and that the diversity of the location was under valued and little known. Members are encouraged to post their own photographs to the Gallery. There is also a lively forum.
