| | | Scottish Nature Photography Hi everyone, it's been far too long since I was last actively participating in threads on this wonderful site. I hope everyone is still well; I'm afraid with schoolwork(exams etc) I've been pretty busy over the last year and haven't been on here as much as I would have liked .
As some of you may know I am a very keen young photographer, over the last few months I've spent some time building a website and wondered if it would be acceptable to add a link to WAB in the links section? |

| | | re: Scottish Nature Photography I for one would love to see your work. I think you first have to add a link on your site to the main WAB home page, and then submit a link to your page via the 'submit a link' button on the WAB links page. The rest is sort of automatic. |

| | | re: Scottish Nature Photography It's good to hear from you again Fergus, we've missed your fantastic shots!
Of course you can link to your web site, that's what it's for, plus link the other way as well.
Once that is done you can have the link to your web site in your signature.
Now where's all those shots you've been taking... |

| | | re: Scottish Nature Photography I've added a link on my site to WAB now and added a link to mine on here now also, so for anyone who would like to view the site, heres the link : SmugMug Photo Sharing. Your photos look better here.
Please add any comments on how it could be improved etc .
Thanks in advance |

| | | re: Scottish Nature Photography Lovely site Wonderful shots Fergus Have you thought about putting a section on the equipment you use? It would be interesting to see what camera, lenses, tripod, etc you use (well, I'd be interested anyway! )

| | | re: Scottish Nature Photography I had thought of doing that but then decided against it
Currently I'm using a Nikon D300 with a 500mm f4 lens non vr for 99% of the wildlife photography, and the other 1% of the time I'll be using a 80-200mm f2.8 non vr or the standard 18-70mm kit lens that came with a D70 many moons ago Although the only thing I paid for was the D300 the rest of the gear is my Dad's as the likes of a 500mm f4 is well out of my price range! |

| | | re: Scottish Nature Photography Hi Fergus and welcome back to WAB.
That's a nice website with some really great shots Fergus, and how wonderful to see such talent and enthusiasm in one so young - keep up the good work and, most importantly, don't ever lose your obvious passion for the natural world - it will reward you with a lifetime of pleasure
