| | | strumpshaw fen meet 2012 The first proper wab meet I ever went too was here and i believe it is still the one with the biggest everturn out abd yet itsnot happened again. Would anyone be interest in a mid June meet to for swallowtail butterflies and norfolk hawkers? |

Am trying to get to Scotland in June and also may try to squeeze a trip to the farnes in either the same time or a week or two latter.
Would it be just Strumpshaw or would other sites be attached to this meet?
For bugs, insects etc, Wheatfen (which is the opposite side of the river to strumpshaw) is good as its one of the few bits of tidal broadland marsh left and i'm sure if the warden was asked nicely a bit of pond dipping etc.. may be possible. |
