Hampshire Countryside Education

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know about our organisation. We are called Hampshire Country Learning and we run school visits to farms and estates across Hampshire and the surrounding counties. Everything we provide for schools is free of charge and we rely heavily on volunteers.

We have a few events this Autumn and are in need of some help if anyone is available.

27th and 28th September- Countryside Day for Schools at Goodwood Home Farm near Chichester- We have approx 150 pupils between 7-11 years of age visiting each day and need a bit of help just guiding the groups around their different activities and making sure they keep to schedule. Full orientation of the farm will be given before hand to all volunteers.

6th October- Countryside Day for Schools at Bereleigh Estate near East Meon, Petersfield area- We have around 150 pupils visiting the estate to learn how it is managed. There is a a great pond on site and we desperately need someone to run 6 x 20 minute pond dipping/bug hunting sessions for groups of 20-30 children. We could also use guides to help groups move around the farm and keep to schedule.
