Would anyone be interested in coming down to the depths of Dorset in July?
Mainly to see flowers and insects but plenty of birds around too.
I have set the date as Saturday 23rd, as Tiggrx may be coming as our ID expert and it is easier for him to travel on a Saturday.
The walk will include Eggardon Hill (chalk upland), Kingcombe Meadows (ancient pasture land, run by the Dorset Wildlife Trust as a working farm), and Powerstock Common (woodland, grassy banks and ponds).
There are facilities at Kingcombe Meadows.
Some form of tick protection is a must for the Powerstock and Kingcombe reserves. |

Guess where I'm based!? - A small market town in West Dorset with a name beginning with 'B' and ending in 't'.
I'm not especially into flowers though - More into rocks, birds, insects, and pond life.
