| | | Re: Thursley Common 25/26 June 2011 - 5th Year I have got the name and number of the new reserve manager (the old one took voluntary redundancy) and have left a voice message for him. That was last week so I'll follow it up this morning. I'll also check out the cost and availability of a hired generator.
I'll PM you about the camping.

| | | Re: Thursley Common 25/26 June 2011 - 5th Year I've just spoken with James Giles, the reserve manager and a top bloke! We're okay for both moth-trapping and pond-dipping. We're going to exchange emails so that I'll have something official just in case anyone challenges us.
He would have loaned us a generator but they've had a break in and it's been nicked.
I'll check out the hire costs...

| | | Re: Thursley Common 25/26 June 2011 - 5th Year Weekend hire of a 2.75kva gennie comes to a total of £39.83 including VAT and a full tank of fuel. Does that sound good?

We could do a couple of hours each day.

Dave P. | How dare you! (I'd want to dip the stream river at least some of the time ) |

I really must pay more attention - an entire year has slipped by and I only just remember this meet in time. |

| | | Re: Thursley Common 25/26 June 2011 - 5th Year Thanks for doing the leg work Dave. Full on field teaching presently so not near a land-line all day.
Sounds good for mothing and dipping then and I'm glad we'll have an official bit of paper to say so.
I suppose the polite thing will be to report our findings to the warden. All good stuff for their records.
