I propose a meet at Minsmere for the 21st and / or 22nd July. I would probably do both days but would no doubt stay in London on the Saturday night. I know Minsmere is likely to be a popular meet so I thought I would suggest a date nice and early.
Aswell as Mrs Fish, Julie and Chris and Pete any takers?
I should point out that this meet is not necessarily for birding and is likely to be quite informal. I am pretty chilled about meets and like to go with the flow having assessed the weather etc. on the day and the meeting activities would be open to suggestions from all attendees but is just as likely to involve a pint as a venture out to see a speckled plover?
All my suggested meetings are the same. Go with the flow. So if you fancy a day out in the sun with friends please come.

If you also include Weeting Heath I would be interested in meeting up for that part. Cannot do Minsmere, legs will not let me.

The Minsmere day of this meet will be on the 21st. This is to accomodate the member who initially proposed the meet. We would be looking to have another meet the following day somewhere close so i will let you know is decided. But just to confirm that Minsmere itself will be the Saturday. |

Hopefully I will be coming to this one, just cant commit totally at this point as I don't know if I will have any new work commitments at this stage.
If I do come I will bring a generator and moth traps so we can do some mothing on the Saturday night. |

further to my last post i have just had a couple of pms asking for exact details on the weeting meeting and also on the location of our camping / mothing - I'm afraid i will have to ask everyone to be patient on those because I really need to talk to boddie who is the power behind the minsmere meet before we make a decision and he is off raving in london tonight - I'll start a seperate thread on the weeting meeting after the weekend

can anybody come on this jolly to minsmere? i'm from way up north - i reckon 5-5 1/2hrs away, but would be up for a trip to mighty minsmere. always interesting to see what they're up to on reserves
