| | | Mothing meetings How many WAB members out there would be interested in attending some Mothing sessions?
For obvious reasons these take place at night so will probably require an over-night stay in the area in question.
A word of warning though, if you react badly to mossie, midge etc..... bites then this activity is possibly not the best choice for you
If we get enough interest then we will proceed with trying to arrange something. |

| | | Re: Mothing meetings I think you know that I'm up for some of these.
I would certainly like to do one or two well outside Leicestershire, and these may be incorporated into other meetings e.g. Wicken Fen, Thursley common etc. etc.
(Both meetings provisionally pencilled onto my WAB calendar)

The W.A.B travelling mothing experience, we've easily got enough gear between us to do this, I'm going to order another 125 watt MV rig as well as one of Adrians Actinic traps.
It would be a great way to meet other members whilst passing the "Mothing bug" on to them, plus you have the added bonus of bagging species that we would never normally see here in good old Leicestershire. |
