Thursley Common Meet

Well I am not worried about my old banger, I don't think anyone would waste their time trying to break into that and I don't leave anything valuable in it (don't have anything valueable to leave!).

I even left it unattended in West Drayton, London, this afternoon and it wasn't even up on blocks when I got back.

having said that i was able to come to this meet, i've got so much work on at the moment that i now can't come along. sigh. i will be expecting you all to take lots of nice pictures and post them on WAB!

Was at Thursley last Tuesday and saw a flyer for the Elstead Paper Boat Race that is taking place at The Moat on the 24th June. Suggest we aim to arrive early as the car park gets busy on a normal Sunday never mind when an 'event' is taking place!

i'm camping as are some others - but some "lightweights" - Julie for example - cant do without their home comforts such as hair driers etc

Oscar is cooking the curry, and hopefully will be joining us to heat it up on the night. But he is not sure he can make it yet

There will be lots of alcohol and curry consumption but the "females" have to miss out on all the fun and are only allowed to socialise with the "males" during daylight hours?

Yes. I must get my act together and have a count up. Been a bit tied up lately, what with sorting out my eldest son's engagement party, bringing my daughter home from uni(for good)and our youngest's A levels happening! It's all go!

Will have a look tonight and see who may be coming.
