As usual I will find a secluded place and park up in my car. I am quite looking forward to re-visiting one of the sites I haven't been to for a long time (about ten years now).

John | It'll be nice to meet you John. Must admit to feeling a tad nervous about meeting everyone in one go. Scary .
Hope the meeting comes up to everyone's expectations.I feel quite responsible for everyone's well being and enjoyment.

Jules | Hi Jules
there's nothing to worry about. It will be a good get together no matter what. As in all things in life you can't predict how things will go on the wildlife front but at least a few of us will have met and exchanged pleasantries, and that counts for a lot.
BTW if a few of us are staying overnight could we all meet up in a pub on the evening for a social event.

I'll be there, but only for the day.
I have half a plan to also go to Norfolk that weekend to try to find Norfolk Hawker!

John | Just had a google. Think the only village pub in Thursley is The Three Horseshoes. (Poor horse!)Dye House Rd.
Think they serve food, but is busy. We may have to go out of the village a bit, but a good idea for everyone to socialise.

| | | Re: Thursley Common Meet Hmmm well I'm probably up for this depends on where my fella is though because if he's in the country I'm probably going to want to see him but a) he might come with, b) it's the peak time for him to be out of the country so the changes are relatively good.
I might camp I think If I'm coming! Not risking those overbooking travel-lodge bar stools |

Can't you go the week before or after. You can't leave us after only one day.
