| | | bird fair vs Duxford airshow Anyone else go to these two events this year? Which did you find better?
I ask as I really enjoyed birdfair, although there wasn't too much in the way of actual wildlife to be seen (compared to the aircraft at Duxford, in the hangers and flying around) where as at Duxford the aircraft were great but the people were far less polite. I lost count of the amount of times people barged into me and one bloke shoved me out the way when I was looking inside the mini sub! And if you thought some wildlife photographers were gear snobs you should have seen the sneers I got for having a Pentax! |

| | | Re: bird fair vs Duxford airshow Thing is there is actual wildlife at the birdfair but its about having the time to see it. Obviously there's the ringing exhibition for starters but also you are at actual Rutland Water with Ospreys and dragonflies and warblers galore its just that you need at least two (or even three days) days to do both the wildlife watching and all the lectures/ marquees. I would like to see better lectures though - proper research results not just jumped up adverts for holidays!

| | | Re: bird fair vs Duxford airshow Always been interested in aircraft and birds and dragons, so taking it in turns seems a good choice
