WALKS ON THE WILD SIDE at the RGS
This looks great and I intend to attend work permitting. My friend, Ed Stafford, is one of the speakers.

Ed Stafford (born 1975 in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire) is an English explorer.

Stafford is currently conducting the first ever attempt to walk the entire length of the Amazon River for several charities.

In May 2009 Stafford appeared on the cover of the Royal Geographical Society`s Geographical (magazine)

In April 2010 Stafford passed the 2-year barrier having been walking since 02 April 2008.

In May 2010 Stafford was made Diane Sawyer´s ABC News "Person of the Week".

Prince's Rainforests Project

In August 2009 Stafford started writing a fortnightly blog for the Prince's Rainforests Project. Unlike his own website this blog is aimed specifically at children and schools.

Come show your support of an extraordinary feat, and enjoy some great talks, with super guest speakers, at the RGS on the 11th November 2010.
