South Somerset Green Scythe Fair
I have been keen to mow my new meadows the once upon a time traditional way. Not finding it easy though to obtain a scythe. Tufftie pointed out that the BTCV sell them, when I stumbled across a Scything/Green fair taking place on Sunday June 13th @ Muchelney in Somerset. Lots of stalls, local produce, scything competitions and tuition, music and plenty of activities for all the family, and all powered where needed by green energy! We'll be heading down, via Avebury (with enough room for two passengers if you can get to Worcester). Hope to see you there!!
