| | | Thursley Common 24/25 July 2010 (4th meet) Would anyone be interested in yet another meet at Thursley? I'd be happy to set it up if there are any takers. I'd like another look at those Raft Spiders and this time, I intend to have converted totally to a DSLR camera- possibly the Canon 500, so I'm nicking the Sigma 150 off of Wild-Man (he doesn't know yet ) and would like some eyeball to eyeball shots of these magnificent arachnids.
Also I'd like to see a Golden Ringed Dragonfly again.
Oh yeah- and it would be nice to see old and new Wabbers!
What do folk think?

Pauline | Well I think to benefit from the superb variety of invertebrate life the common has, then July/August is best. I might have a chat with the warden before posting a date so we are spot on for the invert peak.
