You can see the Seals are really stressed out by all the attention
Nice to see wildlife accepting out presence as not being a threat. Was the same when I've been out on the mud flats a few years back, respect their space and there's not problem.

Dave P. | I not what happened but I got home Sunday night and didnt like ANY of them but going through them yesterday and Monday I had trouble picking which ones to use! I don't think I got that 'killer' shot but that just means I'll have to go again next year |

| There are some seriously appealing pup shots there! Sometimes it's best (but not normal) to leave looking at the images till the next day as the brain gets too tired and overloaded to make rational decisions about shots if you rush into it too quickly. Always sit on them a while first - or raid the trash bin next day....

Thinking about another trip this weekend, but the weather doesn't look that promising, so might give it another week. |

Acher | A good point there. I think having a couple of nice days photography this week improved my opinions of my photography. I think I ended up keeping more than I deleted! |

Thinking about another trip this weekend, but the weather doesn't look that promising, so might give it another week. | The sunshine can give a nice light but the white pups with black eyes/mouth etc can be hard to expose in hash full sun light. Plus seals tend to just lay there so a fast shutter speed Isn't required. So if you do go and the weather turns cloudy it wont be a total loss | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
