AES annual exhibition - 17 October

Yeah, didn't see Bill Bailey this time but I think I saw Nick Baker, one of the newer BBC wildlife-TV presenters, who seemed to be having a good time and was signing stuff for the kids.

But for me the best bit is just getting to chat with lots of friends and do some 'networking' Surprisingly, I didn't need to buy much equipment (just some Nu-Poly strips) but the Manual of Central American Diptera (vol.1) leaped out at me and I couldn't turn down the chance of getting it ... at 60-quid it was a real bargain.

Hmm, no - I missed him ... but then again, I think I missed half the people I wanted to see and Chris Packham would have been fairly low on the list
