| | West Sussex/Hampshire Border Are there any members in this area? Are there any events going on that anybody knows about? It would be nice to meet up with other people to go for walks etc |

To get you started, there's an organic garden open day in Chichester tomorrow Great Green Garden Trail | Transition Chichester
but I would also like to meet up with smaller groups of people/individuals for walks, talks etc |

| | | Re: West Sussex/Hampshire Border There are a programme of events run by Sussex Butterfly Conservation. Coming up is Purple Emperor week and I will probably go along to the Wednesday event (unfortunately you have to be a RSPB or BC member to coming along) so if you fancy it see you there. |

| | | Re: West Sussex/Hampshire Border I belong to the RSPB, but sadly I will be at work that day. I remember going to look for purple emperor butterflies in Crab Wood, Winchester when the children were younger and we lived in Hampshire. If I remember rightly they live in the tops of the trees?
Thanks anyway

| | | Re: West Sussex/Hampshire Border Yes, that's right, but they do come down from time to time.
If I see anything else of interest I shall let you know.
If you don't mind a hop over the border you could always come along to the Thursley meet. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
